Welcome to Barkaboom, a 100 acre
ex-Dairy farm nestled in the western
Catskills hamlet of Bovina, N.Y. Opened in
2005, and after several years of property and
building upgrades, we are now operating as a
full-time Production Facility.

Barkaboom has a fully functioning Recording Studio
attached to the main Lodge with the option to use the
living space for your recording and film/video post production
activities. Special Events are graciously offered Downstairs in Big
Red, our historic 1895 Dairy Barn and out by the pond at the Dry
Creek Palapa. Comfortable living accomodations are integrated in the
well-appointed Barkaboom Lodge. The lodge has many works of unusual
Art, an extensive book & video library, Chef's kitchen, 3 cozy bedrooms,
2 full Baths and is still available for non-artist Lodgers.

Our pristine location bordering on 3000 feet of the Little Delaware River
boasts several miles of walking trails, perennial gardens, a meditation pond,
secluded swimming holes, and a rustic open-air Palapa. Barkaboom offers the idylic
Work & Live-in situation and prides itself in its operating potential, relaxed work
environment and its reclaimed early American Aesthetic. All of Barkaboom's buildings
have been painstakenly restored and recreated with handhewn beams, recycled materials and
are technologically proficient as well. If you're looking to get out of Dodge, this is the primo indie
location for working on your Photo, Music or Movie project and is a one of a kind Private Event Venue
